The Trust owns/operates a number properties where extensive habitat enhancement has been undertaken.
Four main projects have been highlighted. All are different ecosystem types, but have fisheries, wildlife and habitat values worth protecting and enhancing.
Large restoration projects can take a lot of money to fund, but they have multiple benefits. In addition to the benefits for fisheries and wildlife, they provide the public with recreational opportunities and the opportunity to learn about wetland and stream enhancement methods and to see them in action.
